Jack Johnson is a rock star now, but he never meant to have that career.

Jack was one of the best wave riders I've ever seen. At 17 years old he was a won the World Championship in Hawai, his homeland. There was a lot of good things coming for him.

But someday, he was training and felt from his board, and hit the rock and stone bottom. After a few days, he realize that he was not going to be able to surf in several years: he broke his spine twice.

After several an intense months of therapy, he star playing guitar. At the end of his therapy, he lost 2 years in that hospital bed. But it wasn't that bad at all. Since Jack went to University to get his degreer in modern arts and films; he had a lot of friend in the movies and music industry. So one day, a producer and friend listen to him playing his guitar and singing: he was amazed Jack could learn how to play in only 2 years in that way.

So, after a few days in the studio, there was his first record.

Since then, we are pleased with 5 studios record, and several live. Last 2007, Jack visit us in Pichilemu; and we were able to see him in action, both in his board and with the guitar.

So still there's a lot of that 17 years old World Championship.
