The last year my older brother and I went to Machu Picchu. We went on Peruvian dry season and that means that weather was very cold at the morning, warm at midday and at night was very cold again. We spent 5 days in Cuzco and enjoy the scenery and good and very cheap Peruvian food. I tasted the drink coca tea to lessens the effects of altitude becasue Cusco is at 3000 meters height above sea level. The tea doesn't have a good tasted but it helped us to feel much better.The best place we saw were the ruins of Machu Picchu, these were built in large blocks of stone. These ruins have been restored several times since they were discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911.
