In the last 80's there was a band which was the reference of the post punk movement: Joy Division. After the dead of their lead singer, Ian Curtis, they changed their name and they became known as New Order. This issues and other appear in the movie 24 Hours Party People, this is the name of song from Happy Mondays, directed by Michael Winterbottom.
The centre of this story is Manchester (a.k.a. Madchester), the city which was the epicenter of a lot of rock bands and also is the story of a man with vision and the energy to make the dream a reality: Tony Wilson.
The movie shows his efforts to build a record label (The Factory) and a place where the bands could make his shows (The Hacienda), his incompetence as to manage a business as to deal with the rocks stars of that time: the peak and the decadence of a man and his dream.
If you really love music, you must to see this movie and enjoy his soundtrack.

mchacon Dear Cristian, here are my comments: after the death not dead(one means muerte and the other one means muerto)......these issues not this(singular).....name of the song from Happy.....to make dreams come true!! not the dream a reality they come true!.....make their show not his shows....you must see this movie, not to see!!! or watch! and enjoy its soundtrack not his!!
