Tom Araya, born with the Christian name of Tomás Enrique Araya, was born in Viña del Mar in Juny 6th of 1961. When he was 6 years old, his family moved to South Gate, California. In 1981 he knew to Kerry King who had a band called Slayer...
Since 1981 Tom worked in a hospital as paramedic, and when his boss denied a permission to travel to Europe for first tour of the band in 1984, he quit and from that year he is dedicated completely to the music.
Today he lives in Buffalo, Texas in a ranch with his wife Sandra and his two sons. He dedicate his free time to care the pets of the family and teach to sing to his wife.
At contrary of a very extended belief, hesn't a man of Satan o something else, he enjoy searching stories about serial killers and thath is the inspiration for the lyrics.
Today the band has finished recently the Big Four Tour with Anthrax, Metallica and Megadeth and they are working in the edition of the DVD of the tour.

mchacon Dear Cristián, here are corrections: the month is June or July?... he knew or met Kerry King without the preposition.....for the band's first tour...he was dedicated, became, turned completely to music.....he spends his free time to take care of the family pets and teaches his wife how to sing....Contrary from a...he isn't a man of satan or anything else, he enjoys... and that is the inspiration for ...the band has recently finished (remember that adverbs go between verbs).. working on the edition of the tour DVD. Good try! please revise your mistakes and hope you remember to study prepositions as well as tenses! Keep the hard work up!
