Santiago has a mediterranean climate with four season winter, fall, summer and spring.

In summer the temperature is in average 30 degrees, however the highest temperature can reach easily 38 degrees.

The winter is not so cold, you cannot normally have temperature down zero, so it is almost impossible to have snow in the city, just in the mountain.

On the other hand we can say that in winter normally rains pretty much, but not for many days, just a few days.
