The main climatic characteristics of Santiago are that we have well-defined seasons, very unusual phenomenon for other cities and countries. The coldest month of the year is July, where we can encounter temperatures not higher to - 2 C °, the warmest month of the year is January, where temperatures can reach 35 C º. Santiago is a city, heavily polluted, causing in the period of winter that people sick very easily. Santiago is a city surrounded by mountain, to the east side we have the Andes Mountains and west to the Coastal Mountain range.
